Matt Christianer is a bodybuilder and fitness model from Arizona. He is 27 years of age and holds a very unique distinction, being the very first IFBB Pro in the new Men’s Physique Class which was introduced in NPC shows in 2011. Matt won his IFBB Pro status at the 2011 Jr. USA Championships held in Charleston, South Carolina (1st Class A and Overall) which we attended and where we met and photographed Matt. Matt stands 5 ft 7 1/2″ tall and has a consistent weight year-round of 165 to 170 lbs with body fat of 5% or less. His biceps measure 17″, waist 29.5″, chest 41″, shoulders 47″, quads 24″ and calves 16″. Matt also competed in the 2011 NPC Natural Western (2nd place Class A Men’s Physique). Though competing most recently in Men’s Physique, Matt has competed in the past in bodybuilding, including the 2009 Arizona Western Regional (1st place – Open Middle Weight Class and 1st place Novice Middleweight) and the 2010 USA Bodybuilding Championships (Middleweight). Matt has a sports background in basketball and cross country as a teen. He has been strength training for 12 years and has personal training certification with NPTI (National Personal Training Institute).
