Tyler Garceau was born and raised in the very small town of Waupun, Wisconsin. In fact, the community was so rural it only had three stoplights. Growing up, he became interested in fitness from the early age of 13. Tyler was a year-round hockey player and sported a skinny physique, weighing only 150 pounds. In order to remain competitive in the sport, he decided it was necessary to add size and strength, and subsequently had a family friend and hockey coach reach out to and work with him. For two years, he personally pushed Tyler on a weekly basis, training him intensely and acting as a mentor. Today, Tyler?s arms measure 20? and is a true powerhouse, buff strong and athletic. His development and transformation is striking. He trains naturally which makes it even more impressive. He has tried his hand at bodybuilding, fitness modeling and wrestling as a WWE competitor, where he attended the WWE development school. At 19, Tyler moved to New York City to give modeling a try, and living in the city was a big change for this small town boy. He took a chance and it paid off, landing with a top modeling agency. His new model management put him on the fast track, which among things landed him jobs with Abercrombie and Fitch, Calvin Klein, and Armani Exchange. He did fashion modeling for 3 to 4 years and then decided to gain muscle. He gained about 80 pounds of muscle in 2 years. We met Tyler when he competed in bodybuilding at the 2015 NPC Winter Classic, in which he won his heavyweight class and the overall titles in each of the Novice and Open Divisions. Other shows he entered include the 2011 NPC Natural Northern (4th Place), and the 2011 Ford’s Drug Tested Championships (4th Place). In addition, Tyler is a certified personal trainer (ISSA). We are very pleased to add Tyler Garceau to our roster of top fitness models and bodybuilders at NorthAmericanBodies.com!
