Viorel Marasoiu is a 21 year old bodybuilder from Bucharest, Romania. In addition to bodybuilding, he is a fitness instructor and personal trainer who also provides nutrition advice. Viorel hopes to do more fitness modeling in the United States as he has already modeled for many sportswear and equipment companies and appeared in several magazines in Romania. Viorel competed in the United States in 2008 at the Musclemania World Bodybuilding Championships held in Las Vegas,where he competed in the Juniors Class. We met and photographed Viorel competing at that show, and then photographed him again a couple of months later at Gold’s Gym in Las Vegas. Viorel stands 5’7″ tall and weighs 180 lbs., and has incredible proportions, including massive biceps and quads. In Romania, he is the 2006 and 2008 National Junior and Overall Champion and the 2008 Balcanic Junior Champion. In addition to everything else, Viorel is an actor with special skills, and he is looking for the right acting roles to hone his craft.
