Zak Katine is a 21 year old upcoming bodybuilder from Florida. He stands 5‚Äô4‚Äù tall and weighs 143 lbs. in competition and 160 lbs. in his off-season. He has successfully competed in several shows already, including the 2011 NPC Gulf Coast Bodybuilding Championship (placing 1st in Teen Class and 1st in Men’s Open Lightweight Class), the 2013 NPC Florida State (1st place in Men’s Open Bantamweight Class), the 2013 NPC Royal Palm Classic (taking 1st place in Men’s Open Bantamweight Class). Zak was a four year all-county wrestler, two-time state qualifier, and was part of a two-time state championship team in 2008 and 2009 at Riverdale High School. He is a Certified Personal Trainer through ISSA. Zak Katine has had an amazing and inspirational journey to where he stands today. In his junior year in high school, he was diagnosed with Crohns Disease and was advised by his physician to eat better and to maintain his stress levels or the condition could worsen. So he began working out to relieve stress and to watch what he ate. He was told he would never weigh more than 130 lbs., and of course he weighs much more now and is in top physical condition. Zak went into remission and is now healthier than ever. Working out became his new hobby, working at it five days a week at his gym, getting stronger and bigger, which all led to his first bodybuilding competition after graduating from high school. His favorite body part is legs, and it shows. We photographed Zak at the 2013 NPC Royal Palm Classic. We are very pleased to add Zak Katine to our roster of upcoming bodybuilders and fitness models at NorthAmericanBodies.com!
